The Molly Brown House

Updated: Apr 6, 2020

The Molly Brown House is located in Denver, Colorado. I am sure if you have seen Titanic, or read the history of the famous ill fated ship, you probable know who Molly Brown was. The house was built in the late 1800’s and Molly lived here for many years until her death in 1932. In the 1970’s it was bought and restored to its former glory. Today it is a museum celebrating Molly as well as Denver’s history.

Many people from all over visit the house each year. While a lot of tourists want to see it for its connection to Titanic, others go for the paranormal. It is also rumored to be haunted by a servant, a cat and even Molly herself. Cigar smoke can be smelt at random times, lights have flickered, objects have been moved and disembodied voices can be heard. Apparitions have also been seen wandering the house on more than one occasion.

This is a location not to miss if you are ever in Denver. Be sure to check it out the next time you are in town.
