Union Cemetery in Easton, Connecticut was founded in the 1700's; meaning it has a long history with many buried there. Union Cemetery has long been said to be the most haunted graveyard in the United States. Unlike most of the places I spotlight here, Union Cemetery's haunting's are a bit more sinister than your average playful spirit.
The most well known spirit at Union Cemetery is the "white lady." She supposedly appears quite often in the cemetery in what appears to be a long flowing white dress. She is even said to actually speak to the visitor's in the cemetery from time to time.
Another paranormal encounter that has occurred in the cemetery involves a being with bright red eyes. It gives off the distinct impression of evil, so if you encounter it (I don't recommend this by the way), be sure to stay clear.
Paranormal investigator's over the years have reported feeling cold spots, seeing mysterious fogs and mists, capturing apparitions on camera and EVP as well. The cemetery has even inspired a book entitled "Graveyard" by Ed and Lorraine Warren, who were famous paranormal investigators for many years.
Since this place is said to have an evil vibe to it, I don't recommend checking this one out as it may be a bit too intense for the average ghost hunter. But it's still fun to read about!
